Hello, welcome back!
This week for our Project, we will be mainly putting all our ideas in
order and seeing what information we gathered and what we will talk about
during the video.
By now we have the script, and we will start shooting once everyone in
the group can meet up, if they can't for any reason, I will ask them
for a team meeting online after college, to see where everyone is with their
project work. If they are happy with the script, I would like to start recording the audio and
record using video to see how the video edits and uploads, and how we're going
to back up our work.
I have started on the caricature for the animation, which will be used for the introduction for the video, and I have also made some graphics that will play as a slideshow as part of the Online Shaming and Cancel Culture video. After that, I will have images of well-known celebrities that have been cancelled recently with a voice-over talking about each cancellation. I'm looking forward to contributing to doing the animation, graphics and editing for the video while showing others in my group what I know with adobe and other software.
I have been
researching a lot to learn some more about adobe fresco
and illustrator. Here are some of the videos on editing I have watched.

9 cuts every video editor should know
There are some useful
edits I took from this video was the standard shot the end of one shot and the start of
a new one.
- Cut scene – audio onto your next clip
- L-cut – audio takes you into the next scene
- Cut-away- showing where you are in the world, focusing on the landscape shot.
- Match cuts – matching character actions from here to there.
